Restaurant Guardian

Restaurant Guardian runs your whole restaurant from one office PC and your servers' Android tablets. The office PC hosts everything on your own restaurant network, so ordering, the kitchen and payments keep working even when the Internet goes down. On the floor: Draw your dining room — tables, booths, bar seats and patio — and split it into sections for each server. Servers seat guests and take orders at the table by seat and course, with required options and notes, then send each course to the kitchen when it's ready. Tables show their status live, and orders keep queuing on the tablet if the Wi-Fi drops. In the kitchen: Orders are routed to the right station and printed on network kitchen printers (with a fallback printer) or shown on a kitchen display, with an expeditor view. Paying the bill: Single or split bills (by seat, by item, equal or custom amounts), tips, cash with change, and a full cash drawer with float and count. Bartenders and servers can take card payments right on the tablet with Stripe Tap to Pay, including Interac debit — no card reader to buy (uses your restaurant's own Stripe account; card payments need the Internet). Managers and staff: Comps, discounts, voids and refunds with reasons and a full audit trail; approval requests from the tablets; employee roles and permissions, shifts, clock-in/out and handover. The office: Payroll with versioned pay rates, deductions and overtime rules, tip-out pools, daily accounting, End of Day reconciliation, reports, reservations and a waitlist, backups and restore.
